The 'Blues Harmonica' T008K is one of our most popular mid-range 10 hole diatonic harmonica produced by the Easttop factory.

OK, I give in! Quite a few valued customers have asked about 'Paddy richter tuned' harmonicas, as created originally by Brendan Power (check out his superb You Tube channel for more information). So I have added a few of the T008K versions for you to have a look at.

Also available in Natural and Harmonic Minor in limited keys - scroll down to see Ben's video.

It is very well made and plays really well - Ben went to the Shanghai factory to check!

It's not expensive and great value for the quality we think.

Airtightness is great, with precision-made stainless-steel plates enclosing a brass reed plate with phosphor bronze reeds, and an ABS comb. The package is completed with a neat, zip-up pouch to keep it safe.

Available in a choice of 12 different major keys, a range of minor and natural minor keys, along with 'Paddy' tuning.

The Paddy tuned models feature the third blow note raised a tone (so on a 'C' harp the three blow is now an 'A' instead of G. Not so good for chords, but great if you are playing melodies and trying to avoid that 3 bend!

I have added some pictures of my own T008K, purchased right at the beginning of my harmonica 'journey'. It has been played everyday (just over 6 months when the pics were taken), been dropped on a hardwood floor too many times to count and even been dropped in a puddle, and it has survived it all! I just wish I had remembered to give it a clean before taking the pictures!

NOTE: When ordering,  Standard Richter major tuned models are just described by the harmonica key (eg 'C' or 'F'). Harmonic Minor models have the harmonica key followed by a small 'm' (eg 'Cm' or 'Fm'. Natural Minor models have the harmonica key followed by a small 'nm' (eg 'Cnm' or 'Fnm'), and Paddy Richter tuned models have the harmonica key followed by 'Paddy' (eg C.Paddy).

Since Ben made his videos below, the plates no longer feature m or nm, but the key and type of minor is marked front and side of the comb.

What's the difference between Natural Minor, Harmonica minor, Standard Richter? They are just different tunings. Watch the videos below or check out our friend Lee's explanation - https://leeoskar.com/
